Hello everyone! As some of you may know I’m from Michigan and you can tell by the title, I’m going to be talking about how to get into the fashion industry in Michigan. I know many of you want a career in the fashion industry but you don’t know where to start? I’m in the same boat too. There’s no handbook to guide you and tell you which path to take. Well, I’m here to tell you some good news! I created a page called “Michigan Fashion” that is dedicated to all fashion events that happens in Michigan. Anything from fashion shows to a model casting call and job opportunity.

Now you might ask why am I doing this? I want to share my love of helping those who are just starting out and are looking to get into the fashion industry. These information are not just for those who only live in Michigan. There will be posts about out of state opportunity as well. Just last year, I set a goal to get more involved with the fashion community by volunteering in the areas that I live in. I realized how little information I found on volunteering for fashion events. So, I did more research. After, I finally found some volunteer opportunity after all of that research. What I trying to say is that the most an important thing is to do your research on what you want to do and more research.
