Hello everyone! First, I want to say Happy New Year’s! I know am late on posting it on here, but I hope you are enjoying your new year so far. I can’t believe Feb is almost over! It’s like the new year was just yesterday. I want to share a quick summary of what I did in 2017 and what goals I want to accomplish for 2018.
Where have I been?
Going back to the beginning of 2017, I really wanted to focus on myself and take a break. What I mean by taking a break is that I wanted to take some time to myself to reflect on my life and what I wanted to do in life.
I did post a video on both of my channels, explaining more in details in my life update video for both (main and fashion) channel. Since I’m writing this blog post after my life update video, there were some things that I forgot to mention in the video that I wrote in this blog post.
What do I want to do now?
There are so many things that I want to do! For my main channel, I want to post up more song covers. It won’t be con but I will do my best to post a video up once a week or every other week. If not a song cover, a vlog or a CD unboxing.
For my fashion channel, I want to post up more fashion video related. Lately, I’ve been posting beauty reviews instead. Don’t get me wrong, my fashion channel is mainly about fashion, beauty, and beauty reviews.
What I’ve been wanting to do?
For the longest time, I always wanted to do CD unboxing videos. What held me back from making Cd unboxing videos was that I never got the courage to do it and I just thought people would have found it as different. So that why I never did it. Also, I didn’t know if I wanted to have the CD unboxing videos on my main channel or create a whole new account. After a year of being away from YouTube, I finally decided that I was going to do it. I upload the CD unboxing videos on my main channel because I post song covers and it does relate since I’m unboxing music album, so why not?
Sing songs in different languages
Ever since back in 2011, I always wanted to sing songs in different languages but never have the confidence to do so. Because I didn’t want people who are fluent or who knew the language to make fun of me. I also didn’t want to miss pronounce the words too. Nowadays, you see a lot of people singing in different languages because they like the song and they tell people that they don’t speak the language and to not be to mean. I will slowly put up song covers in a different language on my main channel soon.
Original Music
I get ask a lot on when I’m going to release the full song of “I’ll wait for your return” and to tell you the truth, I have songwriter block. I’ve been stuck on how to write this song for a long time now but I’m not giving up on the song. I’m going to finish writing it! Hopefully, I will release some original music in the near future. So stay tune and look forward to it.
Fashion Channel
For my fashion channel, I want to adventure out more and do more outdoor filming for my fashion videos. The reason is because most of my fashion videos are shot indoor and I want to do some different shot in different locations. Something new that I want to try out this year and better improve my video content. Although, I don’t mind shooting indoors for my fashion videos.
Fun Facts about my channel’s
I’m just going to list the fun facts about both of my channel. If you want to know more details about the fun facts, I talked about them in my life update video for both (main and fashion) channel.
Main Channel (aka Music channel)
- Started channel back in March 2009, when I was in 7th grade.
- Use to be a fashion channel.
- First video was about on “How to save money”
- Delete the video after realizing I wanted to put videos of me singing.
- Post my first song cover video in Jan 2010.
- I have three original song. One full song, (“Would you be my Love”) and two snippets, (“16 is too young to know what love is”, “I’ll wait for your return”.)
Fashion Channel
- Started channel back in Nov 2011.
- Wendy from Wendy’s Lookbook inspired me to start filming fashion videos again.
- Post my first fashion video in August 2013.
- I do have one haul video but its on private now because hauls isn’t for me.
- This channel mainly about fashion and beauty reviews.
Goals for 2018
- To post more videos this year on both channel.
- Sing song in different languages.
- Try to Vlog more.
- Put out original music.
- Try to post fashion blog.
- Better mange my website.
- Maintain a better lifestyle.
- To do new things on my own.
- Be motivated.
- Travel more.
