Hello everyone! It’s been a few months since I wrote a blog post. I hope you all the don’t mind seeing all the things I did this past summer in my upcoming blog posts. Just until I get back on track.
So moving on, I’ll talk about my one day trip to Chicago! My sisters and I have gone to Chicago for a Wanna One concert, a Korean boy band. We had bought the tickets for the concert months ago. A few weeks before the concert, I heard that the Happy Place was coming to Chicago. I thought it would be a fun to go with my sisters. I told my sisters about it and they agree to go. That’s how our one day trip to Chicago was planed.
Before heading to the Happy Place, my sisters and I made a stop in Chinatown for dim sum. We had some time so we got some bubble tea drinks and shopped at the K-Pop store. After, we made our way to the Happy Place. We there got early and couldn’t go in until 2 PM. We waited for about an hour before it was our turn to line up. The weather on this day was in the 90s. So I was sweating! My sisters and I took some pretty fun pictures at the Happy Place. I believe we were also the last people of the 2 PM group to leave too. Although, I’m not ashamed because we definitely had fun taking photos.
For my outfit, I’m wearing a light wash denim dress and paired it up with a white sneaker to walk around the city. I add a belt at the waist and my cross body purse to finish the look.
After the Happy Place, my sister and I had to drive an hour to get to the concert venue. There was so much traffic that day. So we took the small road all the way to avoid it. We had some time on our hands before the concert starts. My sisters and I hung out at the mall that was behind the venue. The good thing is that the mall was just walking distance from the venue. The concert was enjoyable and the boys put on such a great show! Taking photos and videos at the concert was strictly prohibited but I was able to get a photo and a short video clip of the boys towards the end of the concert. After the concert, my sisters and I went straight back to my older sister place to rest for the night before heading back home the next day. Chicago is always a favorite place of mines to visit with families and friends. I can’t wait to go back and visit again soon! Next time I visit, I want to go and visit all the hidden spots in Chicago.
